Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Interior Architecture, Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus, Subang Jaya, Selangor

BA (Hons) Interior Architecture is a three and half year programme designed to provide a specialist professional education to students intending to enter the interior architecture and design industries.

The course focuses on working across the boundaries of traditional interior design and disciplines such as architecture as well as expressive spaces in the public realm. Working with existing buildings and spaces, students are encouraged to redefine space for new purposes using sustainable, socially responsible and innovative design strategies.

Entry Level & Entry Requirements

  • ‘A’ Levels – 3 principals, minimum grade CDD
  • SAM – Overall minimum of 60%
  • CPU – Minimum average of 55%
  • STPM – CGPA of 2.00 for 3 subjects, minimum grade C
  • Taylor’s Foundation in Design (FID) or Foundation in Natural & Built Environments (FNBE) – Minimum CGPA of 2.00 or minimum average C (50%)
  • Taylor’s Diploma in Interior Design / Graphic Communication Design / Multimedia Design – Minimum CGPA 2.00 or average grade C
  • International Baccalaureate (IB) – Minimum 24 points in 6 subjects
  • UEC – 5 Bs
  • Foundation or Diploma from a recognised institution – Minimum CGPA of 2.30
  • Other qualifications – Students with other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis

English Language Requirements

  • IELTS – Overall score of 6.0
  • TOEFL (paper-based) – 550
  • TOEFL (computer-based) – 213

Intakes: February & July

Duration: 3 1/2 Years

Transfer Option: Students may complete their degree at Taylor’s or transfer to Northumbria University School of Design, United Kingdom in the final year.
