Thus, it is obvious that a developing nation like Malaysia is in constant need of excellent individuals who are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills required to sustain our growth.

The Bachelor of Engineering (Manufacturing) is one of the programmes that is sure to produce the thoroughbreds of the engineering industry. It is well equipped with research facilities and expertise in different areas, such as CAD/CAM, Ergonomics, Robotics, Conventional and Non-conventional Machining, High Speed Machining, Processing of Particulate Materials and Metal Ceramic Composites, Stir Casting, Electrical Resistance Sintering, Statistical Modeling, Surface Engineering and Total Quality Management.

The programme, which was evaluated by the Malaysia Board of Engineers (BEM), has the recognition from Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC). It is moving forward to implement Outcome-Base Education (OBE) system. This will guarantee all the students receive a high quality educational system from the department. Additionally, the department also received a few foreign elective students from reputable universities world wide.
