The Bachelor of Science (Actuarial and Financial Mathematics) programme is designed for the development of the core mathematical and computational skills required in science, government and industry. Banking, insurance agencies and investment houses employ many trained in actuarial and financial mathematics. Additionally, government agencies and corporations seek individuals with strong mathematical abilities, particularly in statistics, computing and finance to lead their departments, and often organisations.
