Emotional Intelligence at Work – How to be an Emotionally Intelligent Leader, Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus, Subang Jaya, Selangor

Can your Emotional Intelligence bring you success?

  • Is your EI high enough for real success?
  • Does your EI outshine your IQ?
  • Do you accurately know your personal strengths and weaknesses?
  • Can you effectively deal with pressure?

Programme Overview

Research shows that Emotional Intelligence (EI) may actually be significantly more important than cognitive ability and technical expertise combined. EI is increasingly relevant to organisational development and developing people, because the EI principles provides a new way to understand and access people’s behaviour, management styles, attitudes, interpersonal skills and potential. Taking on the EI guru, Daniel Goleman’s research study unveiled scientific evidence that a leader’s emotional competencies have an enormous impact on group performance and an organisation’s bottom line.

This programme examines EI in the workplace, outlining its vast importance in achieving success in any professional setting. It shares what emotional intelligence is and why it counts more than IQ or expertise for excelling on the job. As a leader, by improving your EI, you can influence those around you and impact their behaviour as well as the behaviour in others in a way that can allow you to work towards achieving your business objectives.
