The Master of Wood Industries Technology is a 37 credit graduate programme by coursework. It offers an opportunity for advanced studies and career development in the field of wood utilisation and wood industries management. The objective of this programme is to produce graduates with technical and managerial skills to further enhance the competitiveness of the wood-based sectors. A student pursuing the Master of Wood Industries Technology may complete the programme in a minimum period of 1 year and a maximum period of 3 years.

Admission Requirements

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree recognized by UPM in an appropriate field such as forestry, science, engineering and material science with a minimum CGPA 0f 2.5 or equivalent. Applicants with a CGPA below 2.5 and have at least 3 years of work experience in related fields may also apply for admission into the programme.

Credit Requirements

The total credit requirement for graduation is 36. The credits are distributed among compulsory and elective courses as follows:
