UiTM Pulau Pinang (Universiti Teknologi MARA)

UiTM Pulau Pinang is one of the campus of Universiti Teknologi MARA. UiTM is the only university in Malaysia that has a campus in every state of the country. These campuses provide excellent opportunities for bumiputeras all over the country to pursue higher education and attain higher economic and social well being.

About UiTM Pulau Pinang

UiTM Pulau Pinang started operation on 16 Jun 1996 in a temporary campus in Permatang Pasir which is the 11th campus of UiTM. The actual campus was started in Jalan Permatang Pauh on August 2003. The first intake was done in July 1996 with a number of 230 male students.

It started with 40 staffs which includes 9 academic staffs. The main focus of this campus is electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and civil engineering on diploma level.

A permanent campus was planned since 1995 with a capacity of 10,000 enrolments which focuses on engineering, hotel management and tourism.
