Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park is located in Perdana Lake Gardens in Kuala Lumpur. The Butterfly Park is located nearby and within walking distance of the famous Kuala Lumpur Bird Park.
The Butterfly Park houses more than 6,000 butterflies from 120 exotic species. The Butterfly Park is an imitation of the butterfly’s natural habitat with suitable plants being used. In fact, the Butterfly Park includes more than 15,000 plants from 100 species that have been used to recreate a Malaysian rainforest atmosphere.
The Butterfly Park includes both preserved and live specimens which totals to 1,230 species. Facilities in the park include an informative insect museum. There is also a nursery and breeding area for the butterflies.
There is also a souvenir shop near the park exit selling lots of local handicrafts and framed butterflies and beetles.

Admission: RM5 (Adults), RM1 (Children)
