One of the world’s oldest lowland rainforest resides in Malaysia. The lowland rainforest spreads over two states with a total area of over 92,000 hectare. The state of Johor declared its share of 48,905 hectare as the State National Park in 1989. Thus, Endau – Rompin National Park has become the world’s oldest lowland rainforest.
