Living and staying in Malaysia without a valid pass or permit is an offense under section 6(3) of the Immigration Act 1959/63 (Act 155), the violation of section 6(1)(c) of the Act.

Staying beyond the period allowed in Malaysia is a violation of section 15(1)(c) of the Immigration Act 1959/63, an offense under section 15(4) of the Act.

Approval is given to expatriate who intends to bring in foreign maid regardless of nationality and age of the maid.

Working conditions for Dependant Pass holder
Husband/Wife of Expatriate Officer holding Dependant Passes are permitted to work without having to change their Dependant Passes to Employment Passes with condition of acquiring working approval from the Immigration Department.
