GO-KL City Bus is a free bus service for the Kuala Lumpur Central Business District (CBD) as part of the Government Transformation Plan (GTP) to improve public transportation and increase transportation mode share for the convenience of the public. GO-KL City Bus is meant to be used by anyone, be it local people or tourists. These buses are also disabled-friendly which caters for those with special needs.
GO-KL City Bus provides easier access to public transportation and helps to improve public mobility into the Kuala Lumpur Central Business District (CBD). It encourages tourists to conveniently enter the Kuala Lumpur city centre for shopping activities and also to visit places of interests. By providing free bus service with higher frequency during peak hours, it ultimately aims to reduce the number of vehicles entering the CBD and reduce traffic congestion.
