If you are involved in trafficking in persons and smuggling of migrants, you will be in big trouble with the Malaysian enforcement agencies.

The meaning of Trafficking in Person
Trafficking in person means any act involving the acquisition or retention of employment or service of a person through coercion, and includes the act of recruiting, transporting, transfer, protect, provide or accept a person for the purpose of exploitation.

Exploitation is any form of sexual exploitation, work or forced services, slavery or practices similar to slavery, slavery, any activity that contravenes the law or human organ transplants (Section 2 of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons and Anti-Smuggling of Migrants Act 2007)

The meaning of Smuggling of Migrant
Smuggling of migrant means arranging, facilitating or planning, directly or indirectly, any unauthorized entry into or through, or an unauthorized withdrawal from any of the people is not a citizen or permanent resident of either knowing or having reason to believe that the admission or withdrawal of that person is not valid and recruiting, transporting, transferring, concealing, harboring or providing any assistance or services for the purpose of performing the acts referred to above. (Section 2 of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons and Anti-Smuggling of Migrants Act 2007)
