Hospital Batu Pahat is a hospital with experts and was fully operational from 12 November 1994 and has 314 beds. Hospital Batu Pahat provides medical services to 362,140 residents of Batu Pahat District.
The scope of service is inpatient treatment, emergency treatment and outpatient specialist. Beginning with five areas of specialization (General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecologist, Children and Anaesthesiology), now Hospital Batu Pahat has nine areas of expertise (plus four other areas of expertise of Orthopaedics in 1996, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry and Radiology in 1999).
Specialist services such as ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat), Skin, Urology and Nephrology are provided by Visiting Specialist. Haemodialysis Services was started in 1997 and Community Psychiatry , Palliative Care and the Diabetes Resource Center was started in 2000. Work Method Theraphy has been established at the end of 2001 and fully operational in 2002.
