Hospital Serdang – Government Hospital in Kajang, Selangor

Hospital Serdang is a government-funded multi-specialty hospital located in the district of Sepang in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. This hospital is located near Putrajaya, the Malaysian federal government administrative centre. Hospital Serdang was launched in 2006. With a total of 620 beds, 34 department and units, Serdang Hospital is a reference for clinics and hospitals in the vicinity, especially for people from Serdang, Kajang, Putrajaya, Dengkil and Puchong. Serdang Hospital uses hospital IT environment called Total Hospital Information System (THIS).

In addition, the hospital has been the center of the development of medical knowledge (Teaching Hospital) for medical students of University Putra Malaysia (UPM). The Ministry Of Health(MOH) also has given responsibility to Serdang Hospital as a center of excellence in Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Malaysia.

My mother had operations on both eyes in ’08 and ’09 and I was told because of ‘cataracts’ or something like that.Both times she was told to bring along ‘wang pos’ RM700/- for the first one and the second time more than RM900/-.Since my mother could produced something like a pensioner’s card,she was told that she could get a refund.She told me the above mentioned refunds but just doesn’t know how and to whom.So I would like to enquire what is necessary and guide me things that I’m supposed to do.To get an early response,I would like to say thank you in advance.

  2. my dad just admitted to the hospital for 5 days n he gone(passway)within this 5 days he’s spirit b’come very bad n down. the servives of hospital extreme bad, when press d emergency alarm, nobody come, all scary to help my dad changed d stoma bag… during changed d stoma bag, d nurse asking my dad how to change, ask my dad teach her, oh my god, r u all graduation??? sumore d nurse ask my dad pour d urine himself,my dad almost fall down……is it nurse = little angel??? no no no no…
    during rescue my dad, all doctors n nurse can side of the rescue side of laughter, what u all think???
