Metro Specialist Hospital (MSH) is a private hospital in Sungai Petani, Kedah. The hospital started with two shop lots and four specialists on July 5, 1993 as Bersatu Medical Centre. Soon, the hospital was renamed as Metro Specialist Hospital and was officially opened by Dato’ Chua Jui Meng, then Minister of Health on January 18, 1996. The hospital achieved ISO 9001:2000 for the provision of hospital services, operations and management on 18th of April, 2002. The certificate was awarded by Joint Accreditation System of Australia & New Zealand (JAS-ANZ).

On October 19, 2002 MSH proudly opened the doors of its new premises which is more spacious and has better environment to cater for further expansion and development. Metro Specialist Hospital has a complement of 23 specialists and 3 resident medical officers. The hospital consists of a four storey building with 119 inpatient beds and 24 consultation suites. The hospital now has more than 160,000 registered patients.

Friday: 9.00am to 1.00pm
Saturday: Closed
Public Holiday: Closed

Lunch break is from 1-2pm.
On Saturday (official off day), registration of patients will be conducted at the Accident and Emergency Department.

Daycare operational days will be from Sunday to Thursday.
Accident & Emergency Services are available 24 hours daily.
