Malaysian Youth Museum (Muzium Belia Malaysia) in Melaka

The Malaysian Youth Museum is located at No. 430, Jalan Laksamana. Previously, this building had served its function as Melaka General Post Office. Now, the museum functions as a documentation centre where it houses and exhibits documents, information and paraphernalia related to various Malaysian youth organizations activities in Malaysia and overseas.

The main exhibits in this museum are photographs of past and present youth leaders, uniforms of various youth organization worn by members, awards and trophies received and various memorabilia deemed worth for exhibition.

Objectives of Malaysian Youth Museum:

-To be a documentation centre housing all information, documents and paraphernalia of youth organizations and a centre facilitating research activities.
-To collect all information pertaining to youth organizations all around Malaysia from its history of inceptions to its current activities, this data collecting and documentations would be executed in a systematic and professional manner.
-To create greater public awareness of the importance of youth organizations and their role in national development.

    The Malaysia Youth Museum was officiated by Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, the former Prime Minister of Malaysia on 15 April 1992.
