Electronic & Electrical Engineering is concerned with solving practical problems using electrical science. Electronic Engineering involves handling information, generally as electrical or optical signals, while Electrical Engineering is concerned with the use of electricity as a source of energy. In practice, there is considerable overlap between the two fields so that many engineers need a working knowledge of both disciplines.

  • Taylor’s Foundation in Science (FIS) – Average of 66%, including Organic Chemistry
  • International Baccalaureate (IB) – 28 points based on 6 subjects*
  • Unified Examination Council (UEC) – 24 points based on 6 subjects, including Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
  • Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) – CCC, including Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry

* 5 points or better in HL Mathematics and HL / SL Physics
