At the new Heriot-Watt University Malaysia campus in Putrajaya, you will meet Edinburgh Business School faculty, locally based academics and other experts who will deliver the intensive weekend seminars. On-campus

Heriot-Watt University Malaysia is the University’s second international campus. Its purpose-built campus opened in Putrajaya in September 2014 at a cost of £35m. It sits on 4.8 acres in a stunning lakeside location providing exceptional educational facilities in an excellent environment, close to the Putrajaya marina and its modern leisure and sports facilities.

MBA – Distance Learning

With Edinburgh Business School Malaysia, your MBA programme comes to you. Wherever you are, you can study for your MBA. That means you can continue in full-time employment or stay fully committed to your family duties.

There are seven core courses in the MBA programme. You also take two elective courses, chosen from an extensive range. Each course requires approximately 200 hours of study.

MBA – Part-Time

The part-time MBA programme has been delivered at the Heriot-Watt University Malaysia campus in Putrajaya since January 2013. At the new Heriot-Watt University Malaysia campus in Putrajaya, you will meet Edinburgh Business School faculty, locally based academics and other experts who will deliver the intensive weekend seminars. There is also dedicated staff based on campus in Malaysia who can answer your queries and deal with any administrative issues.

Students are expected to have spent time studying the course materials prior to the commencement of classes. This makes sure that the time spent with the Edinburgh Business School faculty can be dedicated to adding value through case studies, simulations and practical applications rather than conventional teaching lectures. All on-campus teaching in Malaysia is delivered in English.

The MBA consists of seven compulsory courses and two elective courses. You will receive all the study materials you need, including comprehensive course texts and access to interactive course websites. Each course requires approximately 200 hours of study and a large amount of time will be spent studying independently. You will receive 48 hours of high quality tutored interaction in English for each compulsory course from top UK and locally based faculty.

The part-time MBA programme commences in September and January and is spread over a two year period.
