Utama International School consists of the Sri Utama Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary schools. Utama International Schools are co-educational institutions approved and recognised by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia. Utama International Schools affectionately known as UIS in short, were established on 1st September 1994 with forty students together with ten teachers.
Utama International Schools are at present situated at Lot 27. Jalan Usahawan 5, Kawasan Perindustrian Ringan Setapak, 53200 Kuala Lumpur. Utama International Schools, have their campuses in Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru. Another five schools will be established in Australia, Singapore, United Kingdom, Indonesia and India.
Utama International School Curriculum
The Utama International School is a co-educational (boys & girls) institution, adopts the British School Curriculum and Syllabus for both secondary and primary schools. Within the British Curriculum, English Language is the medium of instruction for the International school. However, other language (e.g. French, German, Malay and Chinese) both oral and written are being offered to accomplish the school aims and objectives.

Boarding & Facilities at Utama International School
Utama International School’s Boarding House comprises two separate accommodation units for boys and girls. Boarders range from Primary 1 to Form 5 come from all over Malaysia and Overseas. Rooms are let out on a shared basis, and are fully airconditioned with all facilities.
The Boarding House is staffed by resident staff and matron, who live in the school. The Resident Master is responsible for the overall pastoral well being and academic progress of the boarding students.
Health Care Arrangements
The private medical clinic provide all care your child may require. Dental treatment is also available and parents are assured that their children are in good hands. However, the school should be advised on any special medical problems the child may have.
Study Time
Study time is set throughout the week . The boarders are expected to abide by the rules of the study time.
Daily Meals
The school caterer provides five meals a day: breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner and supper from Monday to Sunday according to the planned menu.
Laundry
Laundry services are provided for the boarders 3 times a week.
Common Rooms
Fully air-conditioned common rooms are provided for boarders’ recreation and relaxation.
Internet Facility
Boarders are provided with Internet facility daily according to a fixed schedule.
