Foundation in Design, Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus, Subang Jaya, Selangor

The Foundation in Design is a one-year (two semesters) course of study offering post-secondary school students a pre-tertiary learning experience and is designed as a broad and systematic transition between the structured study modes of secondary school education and the student-centred learning approaches of tertiary level scholarship.

Students progress through the Foundation exploring, developing and defining the full potential of their talents and abilities. As they cultivate essential communication, study and social interaction skills, they will relate study with personal development, understanding the programme’s objectives to cultivate well-rounded, deep thinking individuals who delight in the experience of their own expanding learning.

Entry Level & Entry Requirements
SPM / ‘O’ Levels – Minimum 5 credits including English and a pass in Bahasa Melayu
Other qualifications – Students with other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis

Duration: 1 Year

Further Studies

Upon successful completion of the Foundation in Design, students can choose to pursue the Taylor’s Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Interior Architecture, Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Graphic Communication Design or Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Interactive Multimedia Design.
