Becoming a supervisor is your first step in the challenging and rewarding field of management. You have earned a new level of responsibility and authority because of your technical skills, attitudes, and potential. Stepping into the role, however, would necessitate understanding and internalising learning frameworks, as well as mastering specific skills such as motivating, communicating and leading people, managing conflict, managing your time and stress, enacting progressive discipline, and problem-solving and decision-making.

Programme Objectives

At the end of the programme, participants will be able to:

  • Identify problems that are currently faced by supervisory level staff at the work place\
  • Manage situations better by applying more effective supervisory skills at work
  • Motivate subordinates as part of your daily job to improve overall productivity result and work achievement
  • Apply appropriate leadership style in managing situations more effectively
  • Solve arising problems using effective decision making methodology
  • Learn and discuss on how to apply learning using case studies reflecting scenarios in the work place
